Politics: Economics: Don't miss Western Standard's expose of Mugabe's magpal African Business

Robert Mugabe, another national liberator who turned into a demogogic dictator as the kingpin of Zimbabwe, has got himself a public relations outfit willing to falsify history in a grandiloquent way. As laid out by the Western Standard, a Canadian blog, African Business magazine has hit rock bottom in its service to this man who has driven Zimbabwe's national economy. The people suffer, but not those in his political organization, his pals. Click up WS's analysis and learn just what this particular African state and political economy are experiencing when the land had a chance to become a center of prosperity on the great continent. Instead, Mugabe has dictated his whole nation into a corner, and is desperately looking for a bailout, but in this case it won't come from the G8 and the World Bank. Zimbabwe's lack of democracy means M must look elsewhere .... and he is looking ... last we heard, he had a good round of conversations with .... Communist China. Of course, M doesn't need creds from us, or even from Canadian business and government (altho every little bit would help him about now). The problem for M is that no one believes him, no matter what PR Hosannas he buys from journalism for hire. Communist China doesn't believe him, of course, but they do understand him. African Business doesn't believe him, but one can't be so sure they understand him - as their own crediblity evaporates under the hot lite of an African day. - Owlb
