Politics: Foreign Policy Canada: Libs demand Canada call for immediate ceasefire for Hizbullah

.
Canada's federal Liberal Party is attempting to milk political gain from the tragic humanitarian crisis in Lebanon with no rooting out of the Hizbullah menace that has created a continuing humanitarian crisis in Israel over several decades in the absence of effective international force in a buffer zone in the region, and an effective anti-Hizbullah govt in Beirut. CBC the state broadcaster in Canada, in an unsigned report, says (Aug4,2k6):

The Tories must demand an immediate ceasefire in the Middle East, the Liberal foreign affairs critic said Friday, warning more civilians will die unless the humanitarian crisis in the region is resolved.

"We, in the Official Opposition, demand that the Conservative government engage in pursuing and supporting a ceasefire immediately in the area, " Keith Martin said.

The Harper government has resisted calls for an immediate ceasefire, saying any agreement to halt hostilities between Israel and Lebanese-based Hezbollah militants must be a lasting one.
Hizbullah and its similar terrorist orgs in the MidEast have been creating humanitarian crises, even of their own people, ever since they called upon Israeli Arabs to flee in 1967, creating refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan, and other Arab countries. The call to become refugees was the result of the desire of a 6-nation Arab force to exterminate Israel at the time. The refugee-creators lost the war, and Israel took territory in the direction of the aggressor states so as to prevent them from having military advantages - like the Golan H+ts seized from Syria, without which Israel would forever be on the defensive to that totalitarian regime.

Canada's Libs, per usual, are trying the milk-tears approach to politics of war, trying to put Israel back in the same defensive and terrorized position, even worse because now with the proven missile-capacity of Hizbullah (missiles supplied by Iran) is out in the open.

It would be suicide for Israel to accede to the Lib Party of Canada. What the Lib Party of Canada, in the mouth of Keith Martin, is actually calling for is another Holocaust. And that is actually what Canada is calling upon the Israelis to do: commit suicide by welcoming the second Holocaust for which Keith Martin now calls.

It's really tragic that civilians in Lebanon and Israel are suffering for the sins of Hizbullah, the sins of the lackadaisical Lebanese govt and the UN presence (UNIFIL) in that country which let Hisbullah build its genocidal armoury with Iran's supply.
