Osama bin Laden’s couriers, Arshad and Tariq Khan – who were killed alongside him during the raid on his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan – were born and raised in Kuwait after their Pakistani father settled there to become an imam, according to relatives and other residents in their ancestral village.

The residents’ accounts, confirmed by a Pakistan security official, suggest the couriers may have become radicalized in Kuwait. Meanwhile, the residents also report being intimidated by intelligence agencies, which are under the spotlight today after a prominent Pakistani journalist has been found dead.

Pakistan’s intelligence agencies swooped in to detain cousins and other close relatives of the couriers from Kotkai, a village in Pakistan’s mountainous Shangla district last week – weeks after Mr. bin Laden’s death on May 2.  A similar raid in the city of Lahore picked up a handful of relatives.

Dr Gideon Strauss is CEO of the Center for Public Justice, a Christian political thinktank in the Washington DC area.  He developed some thawts, relying on Scripture, on the USA military execution of the mass murderer Osama bin Laden who was mastermind of the 9/11 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, NY; the Pentagon, Arlington Virginia; and the further planned attack on the Capitol in Washington that was prevented by airplane passengers who sacrificed themselves by deflecting the terrorist flite path of the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93, apparently on its way toward the Capitol or the White House.  They achieved their heroic goal by crashing their plane in a field near Shanksville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.  In all three locations, the death toll totaled 2,977 victims, and 19 assassins who were deployed for this purpose by Osama bin Laden.  OBL was also responsible for several other mass murders in scattered places around the world; he was an ally of the Taliban in subjugating Afghanistan to a severe regime of Sharia Law, repression of women, and many other heinous perversions of justice.

Dr Strauss's article amounts to a guide for the perplexed and those in mourning, even shock, due to the atrocities of this man.  Christianity Today (May2,2k11)

Timeline: The Intelligence Work Behind Bin Laden’s Death

A timeline of the events and intelligence work that led to President Obama’s dramatic late-night announcement on Sunday of the capture and killing ofOsama bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks:

Four Years Ago: American intelligence for the first time uncovers the name of Bin Laden’s trusted courier but cannot locate him.

Two Years Ago: American intelligence identifies areas in Pakistan where the courier and his brother have operated but cannot pinpoint exactly where they live.

August 2010: American intelligence locates the brothers’ residence, a compound about 35 miles north of Islamabad in the city of Abbottabad. The compound is so large, secluded and secured that analysts conclude it must shelter a higher-value target than a courier.

September 2010: The Central Intelligence Agency begins to work with President Obama on assessments that lead them to believe that Bin Laden may be located at the compound.

Mid-February 2011: United States government authorities determine that there was a sound intelligence basis to pursue this direction aggressively and develop courses of action.

March 14: Mr. Obama begins a series of National Security Council meetings to develop options for capturing or killing Bin Laden.

March 29: Mr. Obama convenes the council’s second meeting on the operation.

April 12: Mr. Obama convenes the third meeting.

April 19: Mr. Obama convenes the fourth meeting.

April 28: Mr. Obama convenes the fifth meeting.

April 29: Mr. Obama authorizes the operation before flying to Alabama to inspect tornado damage.

May 1:

2 p.m.: Mr. Obama meets with his national security team to review preparations.
3:50 p.m.: Mr. Obama told that Bin Laden had been tentatively identified.
7:01 p.m.: Mr. Obama told that it was a “high probability” that Bin Laden had been killed.
11:35 p.m.: In a televised address, Mr. Obama announces Bin Laden’s death.
